Should I contact my insurance agent prior to contacting Klein-Dickert Auto Glass?

We provide fast, convenient on-site mobile service to your home or work. If you prefer, we have clean, heated facilities for you to bring your vehicle to, especially during the cold and inclement weather.

How long after my windshield is replaced can I drive my vehicle?

Our OEM urethanes are tested and ensure a safe drive away time one hour after the windshield is installed. We only use DOW Automotive adhesive systems, which are used in 55 percent of new vehicles produced worldwide.

What is a stone chip repair?

A stone chip repair is the process of structurally repairing the damaged area of a windshield through a pressurized repair process. As long as the damaged area is under the size of a quarter and not in the driver's line of vision, we can repair the windshield. Most insurance companies waive your deductible towards a windshield repair.

When do I need to replace my windshield?

If the stone chip or damage to your windshield exceeds the size of a quarter or is in the driver's line of vision, the windshield is no longer repairable and will need to be replaced. All of our work is backed by a lifetime warranty towards any defects in the workmanship or product.

Will I still be able to see any damage to the windshield once the stone chip is repaired?

The repair process is a structural repair and not a cosmetic repair. In most cases at least 50% of the damaged area will improve, yet there will still remain an imperfection.
